EQUIP Classes

This spring, we will be having equipping classes to learn how to love God better with our hearts, minds and souls.

Classes will run every Saturday morning from April 13 - May 18,

Cost: $20 (to cover materials and childcare).

In order for everyone to get the most out of these classes, we ask that you commit to attending at least 4 out of the 6 classes, and complete any preparation that is assigned. We aim to offer these classes on a regular basis, and you can register for a future class if you are unable to commit at this time.

Caring For One Another
Taught by Benjamin Khong

Do you ever find yourself feeling too weak, needy, or inadequate to overcome your own struggles—let alone care for others in the church? Congratulations! You’re exactly the type of person God wants to use to build his community where people are free to be open, admit weakness, ask for help, and bear one another’s burdens.

In this class, we will cover what it looks like to fulfill our calling to care for one another and cultivate meaningful relationships in our church. We will talk about how the truths of the gospel are not only powerful enough to give us salvation, but practical enough to help us overcome sin and find true hope in suffering.

The Story of the Bible: Understanding How the Bible Fits Together
Taught by Pastor Benjamin Pun and Danny Ramirez

Has the Bible ever felt confusing to you? This class will walk through the Bible starting from Genesis to Revelation and will show you how all the different parts connect to tell one unified story. Following how God builds his Kingdom, the class aims to help you understand God’s plan to rescue and heal our broken world and help you read the bible for yourself.
